At this time every year the glossy seed brochures arrives and it's time to dream about the growing season 2010. I know it is very early but I have already started with some planning for my potager; still it is all in my head, but after all the Christmas and New Year holidays I’m doing the real thing. This is a tip to those of you that grow your own food. It is a delicious cucumber perfect in Greek Salads and in the Tzaziki sauce, but I think they absolutely taste the best raw straight from the plant, Cucumis sativus ‘Marketmore’

Tyra that cucumber looks delicious! It looks like you are growing it in your greenhouse? What a healthy plant! Now I must go and get something to eat after your first shot! Your photos are fabulous as always. Carol
Now that is just delightful, Tyra! I have never thought to grow food besides lettuce in the greenhouse. Thanks for the tip, I will make a note when looking for cuke seeds too. Greek salad sounds really yummy. Your greenhouse is so beautiful! :-)

Thanks for the tip Tyra, I like cucumbers very much and often make tzaziki with loads of garlic. ;-)
BTW yes, my Mora clock is an antique one (around 1850) and it's something I've been wishing for since 1994.
And I've also bought 2 sengustavian chairs (1800-1820)in gustavian grey, what else? :-D
Next on my list is a gustavian soffa.

I will have to come back to enjoy gardening in your greenhouse since I have no place to grow thing now. It was always a plesure o garden.
The cucumber looks so crisp an yummy! I so dislike to buy veggies in the winter. Marketmore will be on my list to try this coming year.
