It is still very cold in the greenhouse. The spring seems to be far, far away, but I have now ordered my seeds for 2009 and that is one step in the right direction. It took me at least 8 hours to decide what to order. When looking through all the beautiful catalogues it is not an easy task to decide which ones to choose. The pictures in the glossy brochures are all overgenerous and stunning, especially the vegetables. Well now it is done and in a few days I have them in the mailbox.

The ice on the windows makes me shiver with cold.
Isn't it wonderful to anticipate the seed order?
Hi Linda, I understand that you think it looks freezing cold, I wish you cold send me some of your warmth...ah sunny California.
Oh yes, Tyra, I also spent hours studying the seed catalogs. I swear that the photos hypnotize us or something! I can't wait for my big box of seeds to arrive. It will give us a little spot of spring to look forward to all during the long, cold winter.
I think you did it quite quickly in just 8 hours, I usually take much longer before deciding what seeds to buy. ;-)

Hi Tyra, having to choose a few seeds is so hard. Looking thru the catalogs, I want to try them all. I have to keep telling myself there is only so much space to plant;)

I thought 8 hours was a short time to take deciding on seeds, too...glad to know I'm in the company of multiple catalogue addicts. The greenhouse picture really makes me feel the quality of winter sun, Tyra.
Ah, the catalogs! The best part of the New Year, if you ask me. I try to remember to put on those special glasses I have. You know, the ones that help tone down the bright, beautiful, glossy pictures. And they make the words like 'rapid spreader', which usually means invasive! Yes, I was fortunate this year that I remembered where I put those glasses!
Beautiful picture. You are so lucky to have this greenhouse. Takes me years as well to choose plants, one would like to have them all!
Yes, you are right this picture is really stunning and this enclosures is looking so nice.
