The Greenhouse,

is about growing matters, focusing on my greenhouse and potager. I grow mainly vegetables, herbs and spices but flowers have their given place too. From seed to table, this is the nursery for my living food, we cook a lot of delicious food and I say a potager is the cook’s best friend. The greenhouse makes it possible to grow essential, colourful, warmth loving fruit and vegetables even in this climate such as tomatoes and chillies. My main blog is Tyras Trädgård/Tyra's Garden. TYRA and Tomatoes = true

I just looove tomatoes, Broschetta with tomato and basil, pasta with lovely tomato sauce, tomato sallads, sundryed tomatoes, pestoes, salsas....you name it I love it as long it contains tomatoes. No that is not entirely true, now I remember I do not love Heinz spaghetti hoops and baked beans in tomato sause, that is hangover food!

Below are some basic gardening tips to get you started on creating your dream garden

Gardening Tip 1? Consider your plants health as well as your own. Ensure you keep yourself well hydrated whilst gardening. As most gardening is done in the sun, involves physical labor and is very engrossing, it is easy to work away for hours on end without noticing the time flying by.

Gardening Tip 2. Design your garden before you start digging. Your time and energy is precious so don’t start digging holes and planting plants without having a garden design first. You may choose to employ a professional garden design or you may just want to draw your desired garden on a piece of paper yourself, depending on your budget.

Gardening Tip 3. Make a list of the tools and materials you will need. After creating your garden design, list the tools and materials that are required to create your masterpiece.

I don't think you need those tips. You have an absolutely beautiful garden. The best in fact :-D

Michael obviously haven't been reading the blog or seen the photos.

Wouldn't mind one of your tomatoes right now.

Lots of love

I had some really nice grilled toasts last evening with some absolutely wonderful tomatoes of course and cheeses, leftovers from the party.
