The Greenhouse,

is about growing matters, focusing on my greenhouse and potager. I grow mainly vegetables, herbs and spices but flowers have their given place too. From seed to table, this is the nursery for my living food, we cook a lot of delicious food and I say a potager is the cook’s best friend. The greenhouse makes it possible to grow essential, colourful, warmth loving fruit and vegetables even in this climate such as tomatoes and chillies. My main blog is Tyras Trädgård/Tyra's Garden. NOVEMBER MORNING IN THE GREENHOUSE

Some mornings are really great and this is one of them. The sun is up and the air is moist. I just want to show you some pictures, November can be all right it is not often but sometimes it happens. Tjohooo!

Just I few tomatoes and peppers left...the end of the season. The humidity is high and the herbs that I now store in the greenhouse such as Tarragon, Sage, Rosemary and Thyme even some Parsey there scents are wonderful the air is full of aroma. Breath in....breathe out. Lovely!

Hi Tyra, your greenhouse give so much pleasure and delight. I wish mine was larger to be able to sit in it to look out and breathe in all the perfumes of the orchids. I will be checking back frequently to see what you have got going on in yours.

Your greenhouse looks so romantic. You are right, November can be all right. Last Thursday it was sunny and quite warm (18 C) which was wonderful. I have a few herbs in my greenhouse too so I'm very familiar with that wonderful scent. ;-)

I so love and enjoy stepping inside your greenhouse, Tyra. I do so wish I had one since my sunporch, though lovely, is too small to bring in all my favorite goodies from the garden. And yes, I smell the fragrant herbs!

Hi Joey and thank you, but I think a sunporch sounds sooo lovely.

hejsan Katarina vi behöver verkligen sådant, helst med värme i. Med det är orealistiskt tyvärr.

What a lovely retreat. You make me long for my own greenhouse even more. As escape from the harsh winter weather. Beautiful photos Tyra.

Tyra of the North,

Hey there! Your greenhouse is wonderful...and backlit by the sun is looks other wordly! Is that frost? Winter is a good time to have a greenhouse...add that to my list... especially, one that feels like a conservatory with a comfy table and chairs on a cold morning. Coffee and toast, a good newspaper and someone you love. A very nice image. Is there a furry creature to pet?
